YOUTH

Calgary Full Gospel Church believes in our young people. We have seen our students step up in leadership and our goal is to empower these young disciples to do more, go further, and go faster than we ever could ourselves as they pursue the Kingdom of God. We are committed to creating a place of community, growth, and discipleship on our Friday night and Sunday morning gatherings. We believe in the next generation and know that they are worth pouring into.

FRIDAY GATHERING

FRIDAYS: 7PM - 10PM LOCATION: 917 14TH AVENUE SW, CALGARY, AB T2R 0N8

We meet every Friday (excluding July-August & major holidays) at Calgary Full Gospel Church! We welcome Junior High and High School to our Friday night gatherings (Grade 7-12). The first three Fridays in a month we meet at the church, spend some time hanging out together, have time of worship and preaching, and we end the night with an activity or game. The fourth Friday of the night we do a big activity for the whole gathering time either at CFG or at a special location (ie. Bowling Alley).

SUNDAYS

SUNDAYS: 10:30AM SERVICE AFTER WORSHIP WHERE: 917 14TH AVENUE SW, CALGARY, AB

2-4 SUNDAY

FIRST SUNDAY

The first Sunday of every month we gather in Grace Hall after the worship is done to eat breakfast together!! The youth leader prepare a full breakfast (pancakes, sausage, bacon, the works) and we sit down to eat together. This is a great time to get to know the youth leaders and other youth. We also introduce our topic for the month at Youth Breakfast. This is a time for us to discuss where we stand on a topic before diving into it in the following weeks!

On the second and third Sundays of the month, we have a class for the youth in the prayer room following worship. The classes are based on the monthly topic established at youth breakfast. Classes include a time of teaching, small group discussion, and prayer.

The fourth Sunday is Serve Sunday - students are encouraged to serve somewhere in the church other than in the youth ministry! Many youth help with the Kid’s Ministry, the Media Team, and the worship team. If you need help getting plugged in, talk to a youth leader!

EVENTS & TRIPS

We try to give our students many opportunities to serve, grow, and have fun outside of our normal gatherings.

FRIDAY OUTINGS

The fourth Friday of every month we try to do an activity that is extremely community oriented. We dedicate the entire youth event towards an outing or big event. As a group we will go bowling, play our own version of Master Chef, go laser tagging, go skating and so much more.

EVENTS

There are also a number of events we take part in throughout the year. We partner with many of the other youth groups in the Calgary area for the 403 Rallies and conferences, we do outreach work in our community, and we with other Christian organizations on numerous occasions. We try to give our students many opportunities to get involved in what Jesus is doing around the city through so many different ministries.

YOUTH MISSIONS

We try to provide many opportunities for students to experience missions work and share the love of Christ in different ways, cultures, and with different people. We have options for more localized missions trips (i.e. headed to Vancouver) as well as international trips (i.e. South Africa) depending on the year.

LEADERS

BECOME A JUNIOR LEADER

We have created an LIT program for our students. This program is for High School students. Any student who wants to grow in their leadership within the Church and in their own discipleship is welcome to join our program. We offer classes, leader-student mentorship, and opportunities to lead in the areas the student is the most interested in (both in youth and the church). You can sign up for junior leading by clicking the button below!

BECOME A YOUTH LEADER

We are so grateful for our leaders and the amazing work they do. We have seen the leaders in our youth group shape and change the culture at CFG Youth and pour into students the passion for Christ and passion for people that is inside each one of them. If you would like to be part of our ministry and empower the next generation to grow and succeed in their faith please feel free to contact us by clicking below!
