INTERAC E-TRANSFER

1. Login to your online or mobile banking for your financial institution

2. Under payments/transfers, click on INTERAC e-Transfer

3. Enter your donation amount

4. Complete the INTERAC e-Transfer profile, filling-in the name of the church.  You must type exactly this name: The Full Gospel Church of Calgary

   • The name may cut off part of Calgary, that’s okay.

   • Use Email Address: give@cfg.church

   • Leave  the “mobile number” blank, DO NOT enter a cell number

5. In the Message box, to have your donation recorded for tax receipting purposes, you must include:

   • Your full name

   • Your full mailing address, including unit number and postal code

   • Optional, but preferred, your email and phone number

6. Submit or confirm your transaction and print out your receipt for your records.  You will get an official receipt in February next year for tax purposes, if you provide your full name and mailing address.

NOTE: Some banking institutions, such as credit unions, may require a Security Question and Answer.  If this happens, please try the following:

1. Use the “Send Interac e-Transfer” link, NOT the “Request Interac e-Transfer”

2. Add Recipient first: Name – The Full Gospel Church of Calgary; Email: give@cfg.church; Send Transfer By – Email;

3. Security Information – put in any question and any answer because when you fill in the next section, you’ll have the option to not have the recipient answer a security question. A note will be added to the page that says something like this:

“ I understand that THE FULL GOSPEL CHURCH OF CALGARY has registered for Autodeposit and will not need to answer a security question to deposit funds.”

1. When you put a check next to this statement, this will eliminate the security question actually being sent to the Church.  Your Send e-Transfer will go straight into the Church’s bank account.

2. As an explanation, the Credit Union said that when we fill in the recipient name on the Send Interac e-Transfer, the Credit Union will recognize that the church has a direct deposit so the option to not send the security question is given when you check the box.
